DISABILITY RESOURCE EXCHANGE
- Do you have a disability?
- Do you have some spare time?
- Do you want to help other people in the same boat or maybe not as able as yourself?
The DRE warmly welcomes new members and, in the past, has helped volunteers to find new directions in life.
Volunteers are regularly involved in the following tasks:
Inputting and upgrading information into the computer system
Taking part in access surveys
Manning the telephone Helpline
Collecting and researching information
Helping to give talks on disability awareness at schools and colleges
Increasing awareness on disability issues with local planners and council officials
Sharing your "survival tips" with others
If you are interested in helping out, please give us a call and ask for details about becoming a volunteer with the
DRE.
